Jerome Barlow was born on June 20th, 1947. He departed this life on January 28th, 2022. He was proceeded in death by both his parents. Jerome was born and raised in Butts County, Georgia were he was a graduate of the Butts County School System. After graduation, Jerome joined the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. After finishing serving his country, Jerome gained employment with Delta Airlines. He worked for Delta for 26 years before retiring. Jerome loved people and making people laugh. One of his favorite sayings to his classmates was “It don’t matter to me what y’all do”. He also loved fishing, traveling, hanging with the guys and being the life of the party. Jerome loved everyone and is loved by many; but most of all he loved GOD. We will keep him alive in our hearts forever. He is gone but never forgotten. Jerome leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memories. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Gloria Jean Barlow; his children, Takita Barlow, Keristen Barlow, and Jadarius Thomas (Shan); Brian Miller (Denise), Damian Pearson (Tiffany), and Whitney Pearson; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his sisters, June Mayfield and Nichelle Powell; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. My husband also had a very, very good friend/brother in law Mr. Arthur Head (Reebok).
