Willie David Watts was born September 30, 1941 to the late Horrace and Love-O (Malcom) Watts. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lizzie Smith. Willie was educated in the Walton County Public Schools System, Monroe, Georgia. At an early age he accepted the Christian fellowship, and joined the Dallys Chapel Baptist Church. In 1963, Willie married the love of his life, Ms. Leatha Odom. They were married for fifty-eight years; and this union ship was blessed with five beautiful children. Willie was employed at Monroe Poultry for many years. He also worked at the Monroe Bait Shop until retirement. Even after retirement Willie still enjoyed being active; he would often stroll about the neighborhood indulging in conversations with anyone he encountered. He never met a stranger. To him everyone were just ordinary people. Ironically, he was dearly loved for his beliefs; kind nature; and humorous demeanor. On February 1, 2022 Willie completed his mission here on earth. He leaves many memories for his loved ones to cherish.
